A colde day. Ben & Jim cut
some wood in the woods.

Henry & Edna went to school.
Ben & Josie milked. Mrs Car
churned. I got breakfast and
washed dishes and got dinner &
supper. Josie & Mrs Car and I
quilted some. We finished
the quilt tonight.

Hattie & Elie washed to day.
I tried to bring a chunk
of fire from the parlor to
my room and droped it.
Burnt the drugget & the
floor. I am sorry but it
cant be helped now.
I will not try such a thing
a gain soon if ever.
