Friday, May 5, 1922A cloudy day not much rain. Ben & [Booker] went to the [wlang] for [guano] they got home about two o'clock. Jim worked on his new ground. Josie cut Salit for dinner. I done the cooking Josie I [?oned] Fate Harvey came to see us and Mrs. Booker & two little children. Then Mollie Reynolds come ( was glad to see them all do hope that the weather [?] will soon get good. Today was Eva Smiths birth day. She is four.
