A cloudy cool day the most
of the day. Jim & Ben
planted some tobacco
They planted some after dark
Ben & Josie are uneasy a
fraid the children will
be sick from the work. Ben
was mad or something he
would not eat any supper
They think they are [onost?]
two good to work at any
thing hard. Some one has to
work to keep the rest idle
I know I am nothing but
a slave an not looked on
as any thing more. While
some can and does sit &
ly around and are [reveransed?]
like a queen. Guess that is allright
