Saturday, October 21, 1922

A good day. Jim stripped
tobacco. Henry disked land
for wheat. Ben put shoes
on his horse then he carried
Edna & I to the river. We
fished. Edna caught three
fish. Ben carried us and he
come home & then come after
us brought us home and
then went to Gretna and
back by late supper and
now he is at the barn tieing
tobacco. Jim & Nellie are tieing
two [sic]. Nellie & Bettie got
dinner & supper. I milked
the cows. Josie is very bad
off. They carried me fishing
because they know I am olde
that I never will go many more times.
