A good day. Some clouds
in sight but no rain
here. The men planted
some tobacco this evening.
Marvin and Carrie and
four children come
today. I was so glad.
They staid and eat dinner.
Then went right away.
I was churning when
they come. I had beans
on cooking. Edna beat
up her first cake today.
It was fine. Made by
receipt in the cook
book.
We had beets for dinner.
The first that growed
this year. I put out
20 little chickens
today. Henry has had
the tooth ache this
evening so he did not
work for a while.
