A good day. The men worked
on their tobacco. Ben
walked to Renan for a plow
point and some bolts. He
got 25 pound of sugar.
I made some jellie
this morning. I picked
a half gallon of berries
and made a pie. I cooked
cabbage and potatoes.
This evening I picked
a gallon of berries.
I boiled them and put
them to drain. Intend
making jellie in the
morning. The children
wanted to go see
Aunt Kate this evening.
I did not feel like I
could go and walk and
there was no other
way that I could go.
I keep thinking that some
one will come to see me.
