The men suckered
tobacco all day. Norman
Booker helped them a while.
This evening Nellie and I
got dinner. Nellie bathed
the children. I killed two
chickens and dressed them.
I wanted to go to Marvins
but could not get off.

enough that we can
go in the morning.
Floid Reynols and
Stuart Owen come here
tonight to see Henry.
I reckon
we have lots of water
mellons now.
