Tuesday, September 18, 1923

A good day. Henry
fired the barns all
day. Ben mowed the peas.
Jim and John
sawed some wood.
I got dinner. I fried
two chickens and
had potatoes sweet and
Irish. I went to Mr.
Bookers. They was not
at home. I got some
snaps any way.
I got a letter from
Julia Furgerson. She
was getting on ok.
Hear tonight that
Thomas Thomson is able
to work a gain. His
father went to see
him. I let the three
little children carrie
a hen a peice to the
pear patch this evening.
