To day is Bens birth day

A disagreeable day. Colde
and windy. Ben went to take
a load of furniture to
Java for Kate Harvey. He
has not come home and
we think he will stay all
night over there. I hope he
may. Jim stripped some
tobacco. The children
went to school. The
three youngest are all most
laid up with colds.
Jim had a letter from
Nellie today. She said
that they were all bad
off with colds.
I have done a little
sewing today.
The children was
late getting in from
school. They had a ball game over
at the school house
this evening.
