A good day. The men
stripped tobacco all day.
I got dinner. Then
Henry and Franklin and I
went to Gretna. We done
some shopping. Then
went to see Carrie
a little while. Found
them well enough to
be about. I was
glad of that. We got
home in good time
to get water and
wood and get supper.
Henry drove the car
very good I thought.
I am so glad that
he can drive the car.
I hope that nothing
wont happen to
make me afraid.
