OFFICE OF T. G. RICE,
DEALER IN
Dry Goods, Hardware, Groceries, and Drugs.

Clinton, Miss April 5th 1876

Mr Gov J M Stone
Jackson Miss

Dear Sir:

Since your election I have been anxious to interview you in regard to an office of some [illegible] that may be at your disposal.

I have business that will allow me to accept a renumerative position one by which I might distinguish my-self and become more useful to my family at Corinth.

I will feel under many obligations to receive a reply at your Earliest Convenience.

Yours truly &c
D. W. Rice
