Minutes of Meeting held Jany 15th 1904 Cr OShanahan in the Chair. All Councillors being present. Minutes of last Meeting read & confirmed Auditors Report read stating as some of the MR voucher were in Adelaide could not finish Audit_ Letter from A.L. Forbes stating that he accepted the conditions to erect shed at the Pt Lincoln Jetty. Letter from Messrs. McFarlane Bros asking for lease of ground to erect a larger office for shipping purposes at the north side of the Jetty. After some discussion it was moved by Cr Bruce 2nd by Cr Puckridge supported by Cr Radford that Messrs McFarlane request be granted with a proviso in Clause of Lease, That in the event of Council wanting same for Public Purposes it can be resumed & erected on some other site wher council wishes. The same condition to be inserted in A.L. Forbes Lease _+ carried Letter from McFarlane Bro re goods left on Jetty Frontage, moved by Cr. Puckridge 2nd Cr Bruce Notice to be posted up at Jetty. Goods left on Jetty longer than 24 hours, after notice being given to owner , where practical, will be removed at owner expense carried_ Moved by Cr Bruce 2nd Cr Puckridge that Clerk write to Marine Board and ask them to have obstruction removed at Louth Jetty Letter H. Houston re rates carried Recipt from S.G. for £34..2_ for surplus of Loans S.G. returning several W.N petitions for corrections statuary declaration for McAuley +a certain clear space to be left for the Public trafic North of Rails _

J. Anderson Destitute Board contractor for ensuing year_ Letter from Destitute Board re S Fot. Clerk to reply. Memorial from Rate payers asking that culvert be made in Hd Hutchison between Sec 160.166 overseer to report pro Cr Barraud 2nd C. Puckridge A/c for payment Moved by Cr Puckridge H.M.G 257.2.2 2nd by Cr Barraud " " Printer 3.19.6 that a/c to passed for McFarlane 1.18.5 payment carried Health officer 6.10.0 Best Lyho 23.11.6 Davies 7.15.8 a/c for Meyers for Tumby moved by Cr Puckridge 2nd Cr Radford that same be left over till next month_ carried Moved by Cr. Radford 2nd Cr Puckridge. That tenders be called for next meeting for the Wandermere Road and Mena Coast road. carried Moved by Cr Puckridge 2nd Cr Bruce that Mr O Blackman be apointed to Light the Lamp on all dark nights at a salary of £5. per year carried Cr Bruce introduced the Railway petition for Councils signature_ Overseers Report Read_ moved by Cr Puckridge that no money be spent by overseer with out being brought be for the Council First & having concent secd by C Radford Moved by Cr. Puckridge 2nd Cr Bruce That Tenders be called for, the first portion of the Cummings Road_ Moved by Cr Barraud 2nd Cr Puckridge that o/s Report be adoped with alterations carried from S.G stating that £832 was aportioned to this Council for M.R. less £400 advanced
