Minutes of Dist Council Meeting held 25th Sept 1920 Present Jas O'Shanahan in the Chair, Councillors RM McFarlane WG Morgan, W Simes, OA Hall, & SA Puckridge. Minutes of previous meeting read & Confirmed Financial Statement submitted & read Correspondence Chocks in road Circular from Sec Local Gov Dept re Teamsters leaving chocks stones on roads, Also stray cattle roads, Also asks that Light on Vehicles Act strictly enforced. Main Road Advance Also from same office stating that the Gov would allow local authorities advances up to the full amount of their last year's grant to enable urgent Main Roads Works to be taken in hand at once. Wire Net on Abandoned Land Letter from Sec Lands stating that the Com would Consider applications to transfer wire netting from abandoned lands in the Dist Inspector of Roads Letter from Local Gov Dept stating that Inspector Ayling would make an inspection of works done in this Dist on Monday 6th Sept & asked that the Councils overseer accompany him.
