be incorruptible for a principle being destroyed neither will itself even be generated from anyting nor anything else from it although it must be that all things are generated from a principle this is the way in which on the one hand a principle of motion is the self moving itself and on the other hand this can neither be destroyed nor generated or all things heaven and all Genesis would collapse and some to a stand and never again will have whence it should be set in motion. BUt which is moved by itself having been proved in mortal he who says that this the essence and very meaning of a soul will not be put to shame. For everybody in which motion is from without is soulless but that in which it is then written in itself from itself is animate such being the nature of the sould but if this is thus namely that else itself moves itself than the sould of necessity the sould would be ingenerate and immortal.
