A cloudy day. No rain.
The boys worked on
tobacco land all day.
We had a shower last
night. It was badly needed.
Josie ironed most of
the morning. She made
pies for dinner.
This evening Marvin
carried Josie and three
children and Carrie
and three children
to the school house.
Dr. Caton and his
assistants were there
to exzamine the
children. There was
a crowd to be
examined.
