2. Sciences concerned with materials of particular chemical composition

There might be a third class depending on crystalline form, state of aggregation, etc. But apparently there are no such Sciences to which men devote their lives; yet some such may have been overlooked.

a. Sciences of textile materials

b. Sciences of woodwork

c. Sciences of stone work and graphite

d. Sciences of foils and plates

e. Sciences of Paper and pulp

f. Sciences of Skins, leather, and fur.
