The Board states that, by letter of 4 Oct., '04, the Honorable the Secretary of Commerce and Labor has appointed Mr. Michael Ludescher, Second Assistant Keeper of Yaquina Head, Ore., Light-Station, to date from 4 Oct., '04, with pay at the rate of $550.00 a year, in place of Mr. William P. Ford, promoted.
