Dear Professor,

Due to the arrears of mail in this unhappy area, I
have only recently received your letter of 28th February.
I was very interested to hear of your first impressions
of the manuscript, and thank you for letting me know. I know
the west so much better than the south. It was extremely
kind of you to send me a copy. Your photographs remind
me of another recent book "Faces of the West" which you
may have seen. I am rather pleased with myself that I can
follow it as well as I do. It is a long time since I went
to school.

Since meeting you, I came across a few more letters
written by Seán Ó Dálaigh to my father. I do not know if
they would be of any interest to you. For the reason I
mentioned in connection with the other letter, I should
like to look them over. I have not had time to do this.

After Easter, my address will be Carmelite Monastery,
Roebuck, Dublin 14. I mention this, not because I expect
you to write to me, but in case you wanted the letters.

I am glad that you were pleased with the manuscript,
and thank you again very much for your book and letter.
