Mr James Stephenson Bridlington Quay
D Sir 6 June 1856
I have been directed by the Board of Trade
to account to that department for all unsold
Wreck left by your late Father - and annexed.
I give you the numbers and general description
of those articles - the proceeds of which have
been paid to you. In respect of some of them
I have accounts from Lt. Steward. I will therefore
thank you to pay to me the gross proceeds
thereof - with an account of such charges as
you may have against each article -
As I propose being at Bridlington on Wednesday
next probably you will have the goodness
to prepare the account by that time.
