Mr J Stephenson
DSir 24 July/56
Vide your last of which I have a
copy - mine adds £24:15:6 - which
includes other wreck besides that sold
by L-'.. Stewart to which you will have to
add proceeds of sale of No 112 paid by
Mr Barron to your late father - also
proceeds of 124 - which L-' Shacklock
informs me was sold by your father
as Lot No 17 in 1855 for 14/11 - Be so good
as to give me a detail of the [?]
against which the £5:3:0 should
have been charged - as I have paid
all the Salvages without taking that sum
into account as I was not aware
of those charges being against them
I must however endeavour to obtain
the return of some - if I cannot get all
Be so good as to write on this paper and return it as
otherwise- I lose the thread of the subject
The Commission on all the lots of wreck
left by your father Viz: Anchors & c at Bridlington
and wreck along the Coast - except for
the lots in the list you have amounts
to £12:17:5
