apparently bound for Ypres.
Bombardment opened up again
Pieces of shrapnel from Flack
whistled near our tent.

On Job. Went into Estaines
again after tea. The intense
bombardment opened again
later in the night. Airman
bought in by 15th Stretcher bearers.
He flew from over Lille wounded
badly in arm& leg. More pieces
of shrapnel.
[Centre] 9 Saturday

On Job in morning. Went to
Bac-St Mann baths in afternoon.
Men into Font Rompin in evening.
German plane dropped papers in Estaines.
Heavy bombardment in the night.
[Centre] 10 Sunday - 12th after Trinity
Nothing doing in morning. I afternoon
moved to Bell Tent. Trouble with
Formation Rumours of big offensive
From Ypres to Arras.
