no School this morning the boys
did not come went over to Bolivar
in the afternoon preached to a
good congregation text man (__) up short not many
femails out on account of the
bad travling I never saw such
snow in my life prayer meeting
to night in my quarters but
a few out am in good
health for which I feal thankfull

Monday 2nd received a letter
to day from J. S. Crawford
he received the money I sent
home by Express I received a
letter from Bro quigley he
has declined his application for
the chaplancy in the fifth Reg
nothing Special to day worth
mentioning I am in good health
for which I feal thankfull
Gen Benly(?) came over to day
is going to make this his
head quarters he occupies
two rooms below
