Thursday 12 Still cold and
windy in my quarters all day
a heavy snow squall Lieu
McCauly belonging to the peninsula
Leegon(?) from prairie(?) City was
here to day had meeting to night
in Co G quarters two at the alter
but it was unpleasantly cold
am in good health for which
I feal thankfull

Friday 13 very cold and
windy last night extremely
cold for March in my room
all day class meeting at
night in Lieu Grant quarters
good time out and good time
am in good health

Saterday 11 a little warmer
to day this afternoon while our
reg was on Batalion drill
orders came to march to Winchester with our day ration and
sixty round of catridge by
five oclock the Reg moved off
the Col ordered that Cor Mahon
with my self should stay here
