Sunday 29 very cold
and Snowing the Sun shone
about 9 ocl but cold I preached
1/2 past 10 ock at the Gen Hospital
had a good congregation
and a pleasant time from
Mary Choice took breakfast
and dinner with the quarter
master went to Bolivar
in the afternoon herd Capt.
Tibley preach he has resigned
his position in the army
had a Solemn time in
parting with the friends
of Bolivar at the church
dont expect to meet with
them in the flesh again
hope to meet them in
heaven in my quarters
to night reading and
righting received a letter
to day from home
I am in good health
for which I feal thankfull
