at the Taylor Hospital
our officers 108 left for Richmond
dinner to day at the hospital
tea two potatoes piece Bread

Thursday 18 6 ded men carried out
to day in a wagon 380 of our wounded here
some bread and tea for breakfast Doct Simpers
our Sergeant is here unpleasant in
the hospital great suffering Visited
Gen Early got no diner Bought a loaf
of Bread Pa 25 got a little tea and was
thankfull pleasant talk with the Chaplains
Bro Hary Mayer he appears to have more
faith than the rest of us

Friday 19 Bro Ambler and I made coffee
in our room confederate(?) here on
Gentlemany(?) reported my
self to the provo(?) Bread & milk for
breakfast cant get no news from
