Saterday 20 called out about 10
oclock to go to Richmond went to the
Court house we took up the line of march
Doctor and chaplains in front
700 prisoners in all bound for Stanton
92 miles to me it looked like a big
matter. Stoped at Cury(?) town staid
with J. B. Hamilton all night had a
slight chill and fever in the
night had prayr with the family
marched only 3 miles to day

Sunday 21 very unwell paid 75 for
a bed and cup coffee left at 6 ock
marched on foot one hour the comi
officer loaned me a horse
passed through Newtown, Strau
sburgh encamped at toms Brook
carried our flour and meat with
us had bread and meat for
support laid in an old vacated
barn sleep on floor annoyed by
some woman (__) who kep up a
constant talking I never spent
a sabeth as this my trust is in god

Monday 22 Borrowed a coffee Pot
and made some coffee - Bro Ambler
