Very warm - went up to
Jno W. Simpers in morning to
fire his wagon for machine
Took dinner there - Hauled in
hay in evening.

Mrs Wilson went home and
V went along. I went to Mar-
thas and after dinner went to
Lords Factory - It was the first
time I had been in that mill
A fine building with good ma-
chinery -- went to Benj Bowen's
and found the old man pretty brisk.

25 Sunday
Was at home most of the day
Robert Leachcalled and had much
talk. Milly came home from Mr Morris--

Rain - Fine corn weather - corn is now
sprouting. Wrote deed & 2 mortgages for
Minker - Lizzie Wilson here.
