A beautiful day.

Ben and Marvin finished shuckin and cribbing corn this evenin. Ben went to Jim Powers to try to sell Frank Mays horse. Mays shucked corn in his place. Ben brough Josie and the baby home from Mrs Carrs. I heard that Ethel Worsham has a girl born this morning.

To night Frank and George Blair and Irvin Craddock and Jim Craddock come here and staid until bed time. Irvin staid all night.

I went to Carries a while this evenin.

Henry went to school.

Edna went to Carries.

A good day. Ben and Owen & Paul Bennett plowed corn. Got done a while before night then went to Cedar Forest. Carried some beans & eggs. The men went bathing. Josie and the children went with them to the store. Josie milked and churned and got dinner. Ren Worsham carried Isla & Cordie Blair and I to Mr Jessie Worshams Mill Pond to fish. None of us caught any thing to keep. Cordie and Isla caught a fish a peice but did not get them out of the pond. Denia went to see Lottie Craddock to day. Frank and George went to Danville to night.

10 15 oclock

Ben and two of the children & Josie has gone to the School House to a play.

A good day. Ben and family went to Rob Hubbards. Paul went with Marvin to Sunday School. He eat dinner at Marvins. Paul and Frank Blair went some where on Georges car. George and Denia was at Marvins this evening. Ren Worsham and family was at Marvins. Nat Wooding and family and Miss Alice Wooding was there two.

I staid at home til three oclock then I went to Marvins. I had bakers bread and cheese for dinner. Carrie sent them to me.

I come with George Blairs folks to Chatham and to Letcher Craddocks. Found them all well. Frank Blair a greed to go to school at Chatham.

A good day. The men folks finished stripping Owens tobacco this morning. They sawed a little wood this evening. I got dinner. Josie ironed this morning. Josie & Henry went to Strait Stone this evening.

Tonight Isla and Cordie & Frank and George Blair and Jessie and William Hutcherson all come and staid until bedtime. The boys played games. I finished Marys scarf tonight.
