A cloudy day. Ben went to George Blairs this morning. This evening he went to Mr Worshams with Chesley Edmons. Mr Owen plowed. Josie ironed most all day.

I went to Jim Doss s. Mrs Doss was getting on fine so far as I could see.

I come back by Mr Bailiss they were all well.

Denia and Cordie Blair come this evening. I am sorry that I was not at home.

A clear cool day. Ben helped to rais a barn for Mr Doss. He come home for dinner. Mr. Owen plowed this evening. Jim worked on one thing an other all day.

Josie and I staid at home all day. Bettie Davis washed here to day.

Henry and Edna went to school to day. Carrie and her three babies come down this evening. I was glad to see them. I am so sorry for Carrie. She worries so and does have so much to do she dont know what to do first.

Jim & Ben & Marvin worked on Marvins pump and got it to work this evening.

A clear colde day. The boys hauled & shucked some corn. Mr Jim Doss got three pigs from here today.

Josie done a big washing. She washed at the house.

I got dinner.

Edna did not go to school to day. She has a very bad colde.

Mr Mayhew & his son Robert come tonight to play cards.

The baby is cross tonight. Josie is in Henrys bed a sleep with her.

A colde and partly cloudy day. Ben cut and hauled some wood. Henry helped some. Henry went to Mount Airy. He rode Prince.

Josie washed this morning. This evening Carrie and the children come. Josie and Carrie made some candy. They made peanut and walnut candy. It was very nice and good. Heard today that Mr Doss was killed this morning. Blown up by a lighting tank at Mr Irbys.
