A windy day and colde. Tonight Ben & Jim and Marvin stripped tobacco. Finished one of Bens cureings. Josie helped a while this evening. Henry and Edna went to school today.

Mr Wesley Cothran come and got a cow today, the cow that I bought from Mrs Car. I ironed some today and mended some tonight.

A colde windy day. Jim and Ben cut and split the cut paper tree up for wood. It was a job that kept them busy all day.

Josie got dinner and supper. I ironed some this morning and set by the fire most of the evening. Marvin went to Gretna this evening. He got some turkeys from Miss Roles.

Two of them was for Jim. I do hope he may have good luck with them.

A changable day. Clear tonight and the wind blowing. Jim and Ben hauled stalks and corn this morning. Ben hauled wood this evening. Jim cut in the woods. Josie baked a cake in the oil stove this morning.

I went to see Mrs Edmons. Found her sitting up. She looks feeble. She is improving. They have a col woman staying there. They were making a canvas for the plant beds. Miss Carter stopd here a while. We all are all ways glad to see her.

A good day. The wind blowed some. We all staid at home. Lizzie come. Earl brought her. We was glad that she come. Josie and I got dinner. Josie got supper.

Lizzie and Earl has just started home. Ten oclock. Carrie and the children come a little while this evening. They went to Strait Stone this morning to preaching. Mr Lee preached his farewell sermond at that place.

Monday March 28, 1921

A warm windy day. Rain tonight and getting colde. Ben worked today. He put wire a round the porch to keep Mabel from crawling through. The children went to school. They had an egg hunt.

Josie has done what cooking has bin done. All of us was at Carries this evening. Kate Harvey was there a little while.

There has bin lots of passing here today. Mrs Edmons went to Roanoke this evening. I hope she may get well yet. We looked for Jim home. He has not come yet.
