A good day Ben & Jim stripped tobacco all day execpt a little while this morning Ben started to Gretna before light for medicine for Josie he got Home by 9 oclock.
The children went to School Edna is complaining tonight I had a postal from Carrie saying that all of them had bin sick but Marvin. I hope they are better by now
Josie has been bad off all day. Mrs. Kellie & Mrs. Blair come to see Josie They brought her several nice things.
Mollie Reynols come a little while. She gave me a nice pin that she & Julia sought for me & am I proud of it. Hattie washed here today I am glad of that. I have bin busy all day.

A colde day partly cloud Ben & Jim and Henry went to Gretna this morning Ben went for medicine They went to Marvins to see the sick Carrie & the girl was all complaining They carried some butter but could not sell it Brought it meanly back Hattie Gilbert washed some today. Mrs John Hutchenson come to see Josie today. Mollie Reynold(?) come to see her today Brought some grape juice(?). Josie has felt bad all today
Henry shucked a little corn this evening I have bin busy all day except when we had company. Got a calander & almanack (?) from the bank

A colde windy day. Ben & Jim burned a plant bed today. Nellie & I got dinner. Mrs Carr staid up stairs most of the day. The children went to school. I got a letter from Effie. She writes that there is a lot of sicknesss at Blacks Burg. Hattie washed here today. We have had snow showers today. I have not heard from the sick around here today. Do hope they are better by now. I have mended some things to day. Among them was Edna's cloak. Edna & Mabel both went upstairs tonight with Mrs. Carr.

Cloudy all day. Rain tonight. The boys killed two hogs and John Ward one. Mr. Booker helped them. The children went to school.
Hattie Gilbert washed here some of the the clothes ?? so that we could take them in. Most of the are hanging on the line taking the rain. I got a letter from Mrs. Carr saying that Max had got hurt and wanted he to come to him. I guess she is out there now. I heard from some of the sick today. They were getting on very well. Jack Harvey has gone home. He did not come to see us. I want to see Virginia but can't get there.

A good day. The men cut wood for flue wood. Nellie got the dinner. I cut pieces. This evening Nellie went to see Kate. She was sitting up. She come by Reynols. They were getting on very well. Ben and Henry went to Mr. Edmonds tonight. Hattie Gilbert was here today. The children was talking about Washingtons birthday. Caused me to spell [?ong]. Edna and Mabel has gone to bed but keep talking. I am about asleep.
