A good day. Ben carried Mary and William Brumfield to Long Island to day on their way home. I do hope they are at Richmond to night. Mr Will Motley was buried this evening. He was an odd Fellow.

Marvin carried Carrie and I to Altavista to a show. Josie and Kate Harvey kept the children.

Tonight Ben and Josie and Paul have gone to see the show. I am here with the children. Hope they will be pleased with it.

A good day. Had a shower a bout dark. Carrie was afraid that we would have a storm and come down here with all the little children. It did not rain long so Reese and Hazel and Carrie and Vera went home. Paul and Roy staid all night.

Ben and Josie and Henry and Mr Owen and Marvin went to Altavista to see a show to night. Josie and I washed a big washing this morning.

This evening Ben carried Henry Edna and I to White Falls to fish.

To night Ben and Josie and Henry and Owen and Marvin are all gone to Altavista to see a show. Hope they may enjoy it.

A good day. We are at Julias to night.

We have bin to Norfolk to see a show. We have bin to Virginia Beach to day. Julia went with us. We had a nice time. John treated us to ice cream. Henry did not come to night.

I don't know what time it is.

A good day. We staid at Willies. Cordie went to see the Dr. He said that she must have her eyes treated for two or three day so I have agreed to stay until Thursday. To night Effie & Miss Lillian Shelhorse and Cordie & William went to a show. Injoyed it very much.

A good day. Ben & Jim plowed corn all day. Nellie and Josie picked berries all the morning. They got a fine lot. Nellie preserved hers. Josie caned what she got.

I got dinner and churned. I have not seen Carrie today. Mr McNary[?] is at Marvins tonight.

None of my folks went to Strait Stone to see the show. Henry wanted to go bad. The rest did not come.
