A clear colde day.

Ben and Owen cut until twelve then helped Marvin Smith shuck corn all the evenin.

Josie did a big washin this morning. I got dinner and staid with the children.

Miss Willie Wooding come a while this evenin.

Marvin solde his red cow to day. Fifty three years a go to day I was married.

A good day.

Ben and Owen went to the mill did not get any grinding. Ben helped Marvin fix his pump a gain to day. Helped Owen fix his stove pipe. Miss Willie Wooding come a while this evening.

Josie made her a dress this evening. To night Ben and Paul and the children went to Renan bought shells. Paul killed two rabbits. Kate sent the calf home this morning.

I went to see Bens and Pauls crops this evening. It looks good now. We need rain.

Josie has sick head ache. I hope she will soon be well.

A good day. Ben and Owen and Marvin helped Mr Dews rais a shed for a pit. I put two panes of glass in the window at the pit. Henry and I shucked two shocks of corn. Josie ironed and got dinner. She baked potato biscuit to night. She baked corn batter bread. I did enjoy it.

Miss Willie Wooding come a while this evening. Richard and Jane Wooding are both sick.

Carrie has two children sick. Marvin loaded his waggon to day intends going to Gretna Monday. Earnest and Lottie Craddock come to Blairs to day.

Ren Worsham and Ben Brumfield has gone to Lynchburg to night. Dont know when to look for them back.

Josie is ironing yet.

A cloudy day and rain all the evening. Ben and Jim worked on the branch until it rained so they had to quit or get wet. Mr Owen plowed some this morning and went to the mill this evening. Guess he got wet.

Josie got dinner. I went to Mr Owens and bathed the baby.

Miss Willie Wooding come a few minutes this morning. She looks feeble.

The school at Renan closed to day. I think most every one was glad.

A good day. The men folks moved some tobacco & cut some for Mr. Owen.

Jim & Ben will stay at the barn tonight. Henry is with Jim now. Edna is bad off with colde. Carries baby is not well.

Josie got dinner with a little help. Nellie caned some tomatoes this morning. This evening she went to Mr. Woodings and got some grapes. Miss Willie Wooding & Miss Annie Carter come with her home on a buggy.

I went to George Blairs. Lottie Craddock & her little baby is over there. Miss Alice Hubbard & Ada Hutcherson and Susie Hutcherson was there. They had water mellons & peaches and grapes.
