Know all men by these presents that we are John Arnold, Jacob Arnold and Jacob Everhard all of Frederick County in the State of Maryland are held and firmly bound unto David Arnold in the County and State aforesaid in the full and just sum of two hundred pounds current money, to be paid to the said David Arnold his certain Attorney executors administrators or assigns: to which payment well and truly to be made and claim we bind ourselves and each of us, our and each of our heirs executors and administrators, jointly and Severally firmly by these presents Sealed with our Seals and dated this first day of March in the year eighteen hundred and five

Whereas the above bound John Arnold is about to prosecute and sue forth out of Frederick County Court, a certain writ of the State of Maryland of Replevion, to be directed to the Sheriff of the said County commanding the said Sheriff to Replevy and deliver to him the said John Arnold the following goods and chattels that is to say, four Barrels of wheat flour, two hundred Bushels of wheat, and fifty four Bushels of Rye, the proper goods and chattels of the said John Arnold, which the above named David Arnold hath taken and unjustly detains [ ] it is said against gages sureties and pledges and soforth, which said writ is to be returnable

to the said Frederick County Court to be held at Frederick Town on the first Monday of August next.

Now the condition of the above obligation is such that if the said John Arnold do and shall well and truly prosecute with effect the said writ of replevin against the said David Arnold for the taking of the said Goods and chattels, and shall well and truly return and redeliver the said Goods and chattels to the said David Arnold if a return thereof shall be adjudged by the said Court, and shall pay and satisfy unto the said David Arnold his executors administrators or assigns all such damages costs and charges, as shall be adjudged by the said Court, or which shall be sustained by occasion of [ ]ying the goods and chattels aforesaid, and shall in all things well and truly observe and preform the judgment of the said Court, in all things of and upon the premises, then the above obligation to be paid, otherwise to remain in full force and [ ] in Law.
