Notification that I will be given the 1992 St. Louis Literature Award in October of that year. Last half dozen winners were Walker, Saul Bellow, John Updike, J.C. Oates, Richard Wilbur, & Tom Wolfe. $2500, & all I have to do is make a short acceptance speech.
