Your name and that of your esteemed husband were "household words" in our recent home of the Immaculate Conception

School, Washington, D. C., as your Secretary Miss Helena McCarthy was one of our loved children and a graduate of the school.

The voices of the countless poor aided by your charity and that of Mr. Stanford, will now rise to Heaven to aid you in this trying hour, and the patient submission bestowed, a part of that hundred-fold promised to even the least charity to God's own brethren, the poor of this world.
