This is the substance of Convention No 9 which adds that the junction bu the line of identityof a point on a sep to a point within the close of the sep expresses the identity of the individuals, either hyphthetically or conditionally, just as any predicate in the same close is expressed.
I may remark that proposition whose expression in this system involve lines of identity are called categorical propositions; and the ordinary logic books teach that they are simpler than conditional propositions which in this system would be written without such lines.
It is a blundering sort of way of looking at the matter.
