Morning cloudy and cold
bible class of drummer boys
meet at my tent at 10 clock
had a pleasant time with
them lectured them on the
evil of profanity and ill
treating animals at 2 oclock
meet for preaching preached
from 18 of luke and 18 verse
had a pleasant time but
a poor prospect of doing
much good in that way
the soldiers had to leave after
they were dismissed and prepare
for inspection at night went
over to the left wing and held
prayr meeting had a good
time made arangements
for holding class meetings
appointed next thursday
nigh to meet in the right
wing of the Reg returned to
my tent tired in body have
tried to sow the good sead
may it take root and bring
forth good fruit read the
Scriptures and retired to bed
