Bells ringing calling out the troops
to meet the yankees great excitement

The citizens armed and out with
two Howizers drawn by one mule

Saterday 29 am in better health
than I have been for 4 months

Sunday 30 I Preached to day
for the first for 7 weeks I hardly
felt justified in doing so but at

had a good time and feal none of
