Corn is growing finely.
Much wheat out in the
field; and that which is
late is stuck with the
rest(?) -- Received a letter from
Danl J. - He thinks his daugh
ter is recovering --

Took Milly and her sister Ann
to Mr. Owens' -- Called to see
Mrs Kirk -- the old lady is
in her 78th year. Went by
the Brick Meeting house.
Milly & Anne were in their
old neighborhood and had
to relate many reminiscences
of the past. The saw many
changes within a few years
