Dear Kids - Sunday

Received your card today. Am glad
you like your coat. Did you get your dresses
fixed? I told the girls last night I felt the
urge to wear civilian clothes so I put on a
pair of civilian panties as that is all the
civilian clothes I have. They laughed
until they cried. We went to Chattanooga
to the K. C. Hall. They really treated us nice
served home made cookies + punch.

[?] kids, I have been recommended
for O.C.S. (Officer Candidate School) Do you
think I could make it? They say it is
very tough. How would you like for
your mom to be a Lt. Sounds pretty
good doesn't it? I have to go before
the board when it meets. Time will tell.
It'll sure be good to get my box
especially my watch as I never get
