Dear Mr. Lovin:

Please forgiv me for being so slow in answering your letter. I have been on a speaking tour and out of the City a great deal. As you know, the Georgia Legislature is now in Session and I must be in Atlanta for all of the meetings and functions. This makes it impossible to come to Jonesboro during February although I certainly would like to. Thank you for asking me.
