Wyoming, N.Y. September 26.
My dear Miss White
Nothing would give me greater pleasure than to be with my Louisville friend on Oct. 2nd, but we have decided to again spend the winter here.
It seems best for every reason, long journeys are

not so easily undertaken at 96 as they were some years ago.
I appreciate Mrs. Semple's & your thought of me & if I were in Louisville I should enjoy taking part in the celebration & being in the parade. I hope you will enroll many new members as a result.
I enclose a clipping from our Wyoming Reporter to let you see I am still doing what I can. (I have many opportunities for doing missionary work. We have so many guests & even at this time there are many who are uncounted

to the cause of Women's suffrage.
It seems unbelievable, but it is so & you may be sure I lose no opportunity of saying a "word in season".
We are having delightful weather though cool. Next week Mrs. Davies & her children leave us. After that we shall be quiet

without a child in the house. Mrs. Robinson & Helen remain for a time.
I shall be glad to hear how the Parade "goes off" & hope it will be a great sucess.
With my warmest regard I am very sincerely
