Lexington Oct 3d, 1837

Dear Sir Sister Elizabeth and myself expect to leave home for Huntsville some time next week and we intend spending a few days at your house - I think I might return to send an appointment for meeting at your house or Russelville as you may think best, for the fourth Sunday in this month which will be the 22d of the month should we have much bad weather we may fail to get on so soon but in that case you could make the apology

I have nothing new to communicate of a general character except we have had some fine meetings lately
