I shall apply to the Hustings Court of the City of
Richmond on Tuesday the 12th day of June,
1855, for permission to remain in the Commonwealth
of Virginia
Richmond 30. March. 1855

City of Richmond to wit
This day Herbert A Claiborne made oath before me,
the Clerk of the Hustings Court of the said City
[crossed out script: a duly Commissioned Notary Public for the said City,]
that he posted a true Copy of the above notice at the
[strike out: Court House] City Hall door of the Hustings Court of the City
of Richmond, on Friday the 30th day of March
1855.
Given under my hand this 15th day of June. 1855.
