SUMMARY OF MILITARY OCCUPATIONS: ANTIAIRCRAFT ARTILLERY NCO, AUTOMATIC WEAPONS - Served with an antiaircraft automatic weapons battalion in Iceland, England, France, Belgium, Holland and Germany. Supervised a crew of 15 men and had charge of a 40-mm. Bofors gun and four .50 caliber antiaircraft machine guns. Instructed crew and was responsible for the tactical employment of the crew and guns in combat. Gave the commands to fire and cease firing.
