Prof. A. B. Brown,
Chicago, Ill.

Dear Professor Brown,

Your two letters, one from Nova Scotia and one from Boston, are
at hand. I am much pleased that you have had so satisfactory and rest-
ful a trip. Shall be glad to see you again in the fall on your return.

I have had two weeks off. The rest of the time have been very
busy, and am still. The prospects for the college for the coming year
are first class.

Sincerely yours,

Aug. 9, 1897.

Dear Prof. Bemis,

Herewith I send you the names of the conomists to whom the Indus-
trialist was sent. Under another cover I send 12 copies of the article
about yourself, which were saved from spare copies of that page, after
the type had been distributed; and with them 50 copies of the board
statement. Please save the copies of the Industrialist, as they are
becoming scarce.

Very truly yours,
THOMAS E. WILL,
President.
