Mr. M. McGuire,
Dear Sir,

I wrote to you the other day in the name of President Will,
he being absent at the time. On his return I conversed on the subeject
of houses to rent. He has been having some experience in that line
recently, and suggests modufying the other letter by the addition of
the following.

While there are vacant houses in town, at the same time the diffi-
culty of securing satisfactory quarters should not be under-estimated.
Houses here are not so abundant as in some other Kansas towns that
enjoyed (?) booms. Good houses at from $12 to $20 per month can occa-
sionally be found. The cheaper grades of houses are likely to be more
easily obtained.
