Dear Miss Booth. -

"John Paul's Book" will be published in a few * days by the subscription men at Hartford - American Publishing Co. It will contain something from the Bazar {underlined], so you [underlined], & the Weekly and monthly [underlined] (as I've written consent) must say all you can to make the public avid for the book. It really appalls me to see how much I've written - a big book, it is . - 600 pages, and ever so many illustrations

over [lower right side of page] * perhaps weeks

Please break it mildly to the public; the pleasure in store for them, & then an early copy shall find its way to you, for a most critical review.

Very Truly C. H. Webb
