Sophia E. Thoreau to Frank B. Sanborn. Bangor Mar 9th Dear Mr Sanborn, I am happy to acknowledge the receipt of your draft for the suit, due March first. It reached me Saturday, the delay, I beg you to consider of no consequence. I trust that the spring is farther advanced with you than it is in Bangor. A deep snow fell yesterday & I fear, it will be many weeks before the ice leaves the river. L. M. Alcott's account of Fruitlands interested me very much. It almost broke my heart to think what poor Abel suffered. Please remember me
